Though some have noticed a discoloration, Lyons officials said Saturday the water in the village is safe to drink.
A Facebook post read, “Due to the large fire in Delta last night, the fire department had to use a lot of water from our system which stirred everything up. The water may appeared discolored for a day but is safe to use.”
