And Hemet’s Hometown Buffet has closed permanently because of the coronavirus pandemic.
But there is happy news in the Inland Empire as well. Farmer Boys is going forward with a long-delayed celebration of its 100th store. And a Claremont brewery received a coveted national honor.

Rising coronavirus rates forced Riverside County back into the most restrictive tier of the state’s coronavirus reopening framework Tuesday. The move means that restaurants, gyms, movie theaters, and places of worship can no longer have limited indoor operations. Read more.
