As many stay at home during October to focus on saving money ahead of the festive season, pubs are trying to entice some customers back in by offering customers a free drink every week.
Customers can pick up a free beer, spirit, wine or soft drink once a week throughout the month, in a 'Here's to the pub' scheme, which more than 1250 pubs across the UK are taking part in.
Those with an Ei Publican Partnerships are hoping call customers back in post-closures, with all having the relevant safety measures in place so people can go back to enjoying our local pubs – before the 10pm curfew.
To redeem the deal all pubgoers need to register your details at great-british-pubs.co.uk on a smartphone or tablet, where you can also look up the which pubs near you are taking part.

A Gordon's Dry Gin, Pink Gin or Lemon Gin with house tonic is available on the house as part of the 'Here's to the Pub' initiative.
While customers can also choose from a choice of wines, a large range of beers and ciders, soft drinks such as Britvic J2O and Pepsi, and non-alcoholic beers and ciders.
Nick Light, MD for Ei Publican Partnerships, said: 'It's more important than ever that we support our local pubs in the new "normal" to help the industry to get back on its feet.
'There have been many missed moments over the last few months that would have been spent in the pub. From birthdays and anniversaries to first dates and bank holidays.
'With the curfew and clear guidance on table service and PPE in place, publicans and their teams are continuing to work tirelessly to create safe and sustainable environments so we can get back to enjoying these moments in the pub.

'To encourage people back in, we're running our largest ever initiative and offering pub goers their first drink for free every week in October.'
When pubs were closed during UK lockdown, a survey found that more than a quarter of Brits were concerned about their local's survival and more than a fifth said their neighbourhood would be poorer for not having a local pub.
The offer runs from 1st October to 29th October 2020.
You can choose from 30 drinks including Heineken, John Smiths Strongbow Dark Fruit, Budweiser, Rekorderlig, Heineken 0.0, Gordon's Gin and Tonic, J20 and Pepsi.
In participating pubs, you will be able to redeem one free drink a week from 1st – 29th October with the weeks running Thursday to Wednesday.
