Brad A. Johnson admits he has eaten chicken for far too many nights in a row during the pandemic, and while some of it has been very, very good, he doesn’t think he’s had a better chicken dinner than the family-style one offered by Lola Gaspar in Santa Ana.

A fine vintage… of lemonade 

You may soon be pairing a lemonade with your Chipotle burrito the same way you pair a fine  cabernet with your steak. The Newport Beach-based chain is serving two lemonades and two agua frescas that it says complement its menu items. Read more.

A craft beer lover’s wonderland

Anaheim’s Leisuretown is now open. The space, which is a stone’s throw away from the Anaheim Packing House, features a brewery by Modern Times, a restaurant, beer garden, mini market, event space and a swimming pool (the pool isn’t open yet, though). Anne Valdespino has more. Read more.
