In mid-2020, Violet Wilson has released what has probably become the best Twitter thread ever that had millions of fans agreeing with her and adding on the madness she created. Her tweets were about what kind of coffee characters from Star Wars would make.
In her tweet series, Violet pretty much mentions every major character in the series, and the way each one drinks their coffee is just so utterly fitting its kind of amazing, which is originally got so many fans into the idea. Here is a list of some of the best Star Wars related tweets you will probably ever see.
10 Obi-Wan
This was the tweet that started it all. On this thread, Violet goes on to say that Obi-Wan definitely makes his using a French Press. French Presses need a lot of patience and control. It is the most gentle of the varying coffees. As she said, Obi-Wan would use his own weight to gently lower the filter onto the ground coffee beans to perfectly control the kind of coffee he wants. With the French Press, users also have to weigh the approximate amount of beans to use and set a specific time for the beans to steep before pouring the coffee. If Obi-Wan likes anything, its control, and flair, which makes the French Press perfect for him.

Padmé, of course, would use this extremely fancy coffee brewing system, daily, in order to make her coffee. As the caption says, Padmé would definitely find morning coffee-making as an art, and would probably see it as a way to do some much needed "self-care" on a daily basis to jump-start her mornings. With all the senate business, being surrounded by morons, hiding her marriage from everyone, and Anakin's angsty and problematic self, this woman needs some daily morning meditation, and what better way than watching her coffee being cold brewed in this beautiful Japanese piece.
8 Darth Vader
Darth Vader would most definitely just like to keep things simple. A simple coffee maker to brew in the Death Star office, away from all his Imperial employees, to just catch a moment for himself. Violet also expresses that Vader would definitely like this coffee maker to keep things coordinated.
Vader would enjoy the fact that it looks like him and would probably try to install some kind of sound mechanic so that when it brews, it sounds just like his breathing. Vader drinks his coffee black with one sugar for a little flair.
7 Kylo Ren
Like his grandfather before him, Kylo Ren would definitely like to base his coffee-making on his own personal aesthetic, maybe it's a Sith thing, maybe it's a Skywalker thing. Kylo Ren would use this Aeropress coffee maker because it looks oddly similar to him and to many of the ships and aesthetics of the First Order. This coffee press is like a really aggressive version of the French Press, it steeps in 10-50 seconds and forces the filter through the tube when it is pushed down on. He dominates his coffee grinds every morning to motivate his domination of the galaxy.
6 Rey
Rey doesn't have time to make her own coffee, and she doesn't really understand why everyone else does have the time. Rey grabs her coffee from her local gas station every morning and adds some hazelnut creamer. She thinks it tastes just fine and better than the instant coffee she makes with water in her microwave at home. As Violet poses, Rey has no idea why everyone thinks her coffee is bad.
5 BB-8
BB-8 is a bit of a special case. As Violet says, this little droid just likes to cut right to the chase. BB-8 would surely like caffeine pills. Firstly, the bottle is orange, like him, and doesn't require standing around another machine to take. BB-8 is his own coffee maker, therefore, he just needs to add a little caffeine to get his ball rolling.
All fans know that BB-8 has a lot of extra energy than the rest of the cast from the sequel trilogy and that's just because he continuously pops these to support his constant energy and focus. The galaxy is at war, there is no time for sleep. Also, he may just have a caffeine addiction.
4 Emperor Palpatine
Well, like BB-8, Emperor Palpatine is just cutting to the source directly only in a much, much grosser way. He doesn't enjoy munching on coffee beans just to save time. He has all the time in the galaxy while he awaits new Skywalkers to torment. No, Palpatine just likes to feast on coffee beans because he probably thinks they taste good. All that raw and unlimited power that they possess, he wants for himself. Palpatine probably roasts these coffee beans himself with his force lightning.
3 Han & Leia
These polar opposites make for no better pair. Han constantly asks Leia if she wants some of his cold brew, to which she kindly declines. He then will ask her if he should open up his own caf on Hosnian Prime to be closer to her, to which she also kindly decline. Leia never understood why Han, Chewie, and Lando took shots of Han's cold brew before flying the Falcon into dangerous areas, but she did know that he seemed to have an endless supply of the stuff.
2 R2-D2
R2 honestly just does not have a single care in the world. He rolls into his important meetings, always late, with an iced latte in his little droid hand. The straw is pointed to where his mouth would be, but no one ever sees him actually drink the coffee, yet it still mysteriously depletes each time they look at him. R2 was supposed to be at the meeting by 9 am, but that was the same time he got to Starbucks and didn't really care. It's not like the rebels were waiting on him to showcase the plans of the Death Star or the map to find Luke Skywalker or anything. He'll just roll in late.
1 Luke Skywalker
The last entry on this list is Luke Skywalker himself. Luke realized he really missed blue bantha milk and decided to try to recreate it while on Dagobah. Only, there were no bantha on Dagobah, only trees, algae, Yoda, and that weird thing in the water. Well, one of these would have to do. Luke would make his own matcha teas and lattes when he felt fancy. He would properly use the whisk to get the ultimate flavor and would pretend he had a daily tea ceremony that was just apart of his Jedi training. He tried to teach Rey but she stayed preferring her gas station coffee.
