Aam Panna
This is one drink that does not need any introduction in India. It’s an all-time favourite people from all the sections of society. A complete lip-smacking drink that is quite popular and made with your favourite king of fruits- mango. This refreshing summer drink is made using mango pulp and blended with cumin, jeera, kala namak, and mint leaves. This drink not only keeps you refreshed but also energised throughout the sunny days. Plus, the nutrients in mango in the form of vitamin C, fat, carbohydrates, and protein will be present in that drink.
Sattu Sharbat
A popular drink originated in Bihar is another refreshing and energetic drink. Sattu Sharbat keeps your body cool even during the hottest day. It is made of Sattu flour, sugar, and water - this is all it needs. It’s not only refreshing but also quite filling. Sattu also contains several essential vitamins and minerals such as potassium and magnesium. It reduces bloating, improves metabolism, and assists the body in burn calories effectively.
Lassi
Who can say ‘no’ to the Punjabi lassi in this hot weather? This smooth and creamy curd-based refreshment is considered to be a wonderful summer cooler. The best part is, one can easily add many variations to it, from mint, mango, and even banana. Curd has several benefits as it is helpful in strengthening immunity, boosting digestion, and removal of dark skin.
