Ice cream paninis. Elote corn nachos. Vegan loco moco.
The Golden State Warriors and Chase Center have offered a dizzying array of food and drink options since the arena opened in San Francisco’s Mission Bay in 2019.
But starting this week, just in time for the first preseason game, they are expanding those offerings to include more than 50 new and distinctive menu items, two new concepts — Room For Dessert and Splash Wine Bar — and seven new specialty cocktails. Hello, Warriors Punch.
Designed by Chase Center senior pastry chef Bianca Montijo, Room For Dessert is located in the lower Budweiser Legends Club and offers fans a wide variety of desserts, from Tin Pot Creamery ice cream by the scoop, cone and milkshake, to seasonal cheesecakes, a hazelnut brownie, mini powdered sugar doughnuts and something called an ice cream panini.
In addition to Room For Dessert and the Splash Wine Bar, which is located in the upper Budweiser Legends Club and serves wines from Silver Oak and Moet & Chandon, it’s the new menu items across all the eateries and full-service restaurant, Modelo Cantina, that have tummies growling.
Highlights include a variety of plant-based options, such as the vegan Shanghai Lumpia from Taste Maker Sarap Shop, a vegan pastrami sandwich from Sadie’s Delicatessen and a plant-based sausage dog from City Bistro.
Located on the seventh floor of Chase Center, Modelo Cantina will now offer a la carte dishes, in addition to its reservation dine-in service. Look for an Asada and Oaxaca Quesadilla, Ranchera Chicken Chilaquiles and a pumpkin tamale.
And what about those cocktails? Think Warriors Punch, a tangy twist on the classic featuring Smooth Ambler Bourbon, and the Golden 75, made with a combination of Hennessey V.S.O.P and Moet & Chandon.
