October 25, 2021, Rose Hill, N.C. — Committed to making a difference in the lives of families coping with breast cancer, Duplin Winery, makers of America’s favorite sweet wines, has announced a Drink Pink case sale Oct. 22-31, 2021, that will help patients and survivors cover medical costs.

Duplin’s Drink Pink sale benefits Caring In Our Lifetime, a non-profit committed to helping breast cancer survivors who need financial assistance. Ninety-five percent of the more than $500,000 Caring In Our Lifetime has raised over the years has gone directly to survivors thanks to the organization’s low overhead and hard-working volunteer board.

The Duplin Drink Pink sale continues family-owned Duplin Winery’s ongoing efforts to support Caring in Our Lifetime’s mission. Customers who purchase the Drink Pink case of 12 blush wines will receive three bottles of Duplin’s new, unique Cotton Candy wine; three bottles of Holly Rosé, one of the winery’s beloved Christmas wines; and two bottles each of Duplin’s most popular labels — Sangria Rosé, Pink Magnolia and Goin’ Coastal – all at a discount of $42 off the original price.

Duplin Winery has previously donated thousands of dollars to assist breast cancer patients and survivors through its annual Drink Pink event featuring live music, wine, food and fellowship. The latest campaign takes the winery’s effort in a new direction at a critical time, Duplin co-owner Jonathan Fussell said.

“Cancer has personally touched our family, so we understand the incredibly difficult challenges that come with facing this disease. Both 2020 and 2021 have been especially taxing due to the pandemic, making it more important than ever for us to give back,” said Fussell, who co-owns the winery with his brother, Dave Fussell.

Customers may purchase the Drink Pink case online at duplinwinery.com or at Duplin locations at 505 N Sycamore St, Rose Hill, N.C., and 4650 U.S. Highway 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Drink Pink case sale price is $125. The regular price is $167.

About Caring In Our Lifetime

Caring In Our Lifetime is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and providing financial assistance with medical expenses to breast cancer patients and survivors in Horry and Georgetown counties in South Carolina.

Caring In Our Lifetime was founded in 1997 as a way that sales staff at Time Warner Cable in Myrtle Beach, S.C., could assist a co-worker who had been diagnosed with breast cancer. After the first year, the Caring In Our Lifetime breast cancer charity auction was officially launched to help more local breast cancer survivors.

Caring In Our Lifetime’s all-volunteer board employs no paid staff. Minimal overhead allows the organization to give approximately 95 percent of its proceeds back to breast cancer survivors.
