Visions of sugarplums don’t have to just be dancing in your head, they can also be part of your morning coffee this holiday season.
Dunkin’ is offering a new drink called Sugarplum Macchiato.
The purple espresso drink features blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, and plum, “accented by notes of vanilla and rounded out with a sweet sugary finish for the ultimate winter delight.”
“The combination of Dunkin’s premium espresso, milk, and sugarplum flavor creates a whimsical, light-purple layered appearance for a beverage that is sure to start winter with a wow,” the company said. “And perhaps create a little festive FOMO as the highlight of holiday posts and photos.”
Dunkin’ noted that while talking about sugarplums are common during this time of year, it “provides people with perhaps their first-ever taste of sugarplum.”
If the drink isn’t enough purple, the company also suggest pairing it with the new Frosted Snowflake Donut, which includes purple icing and snowflake sprinkles.
Dunkin’ can also delivered using DoorDash, Grubhub and Uber Eats.
