Geraldine Golden and Pat Rogers are the sisters in Sisters’ Restaurant in Troy, and, while they are literally family, they also feel like many of their customers are family.
That has made the pandemic not only hard on business, but hard on their relationships with those customers who have yet to return with the risks that exist.
It’s just as likely that those customers miss the sisters and the great Southern food of Sisters’. That would include their mother’s recipe for banana pudding, which is so good it is on the Alabama Tourism Department’s list of 100 Dishes to Eat in Alabama.
