The holidays are officially here and you know what that means… let the festivities begin! Despite being known for its tropical vibes year-round, South Florida sure knows how to deck the halls.
If you’re looking for a few fun ways to make the most of this winter season, check out these holiday-themed events to eat and drink your way into 2022.
Veza Sur Brewing Co.’s Coquito Loquito
Veza Sur Brewing Co., a craft brewery located in the heart of the Wynwood district of Miami, is bringing back its fan-favorite Coquito Loquito to celebrate the holiday season! This housemade Coquito is stirred with Horchata Cream Ale, hints of vanilla and cinnamon spices, and topped off with a coconut dulce de leche foam. The Coquito Loquito is the perfect holiday drink to keep you, friends, and family feeling extra merry all season long.

Holiday-Themed Bar Pop-Ups
Those visiting Miami can enjoy the holiday season with one or more holiday-themed cocktail pop-ups turning up across South Florida. Whether it’s the national Miracle Bar pop-ups in Miami, Doral, and Delray Beach, or the Hanukkah-themed one at Kush Hialeah, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the season in the Magic City this year.
Riverfront Holiday Village at the Wharf
The Wharf Miami and the Wharf Fort Lauderdale will bring holiday cheer to each city’s waterfront strip during a month-long celebration. Oversized decorations and over 500,000 holiday lights, a dynamic daily happy hour where margaritas, mules, and mojitos start at $4 and increase in price by $1 every hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., an array of specialty festive cocktails available on Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. to close, a toy drive benefiting Kristi House on Thursday, December 9, and another benefiting Boys & Girls Club of Miami-Dade on Friday, December 10 will fill both Wharf locations throughout the season.

Santa Saturdays at Shooters
The whole month of December, Shooters Waterfront will have Santa Claus pay a visit to those brunching from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. This Santa will pose for pictures and take gift requests.

Holiday Marketplace at the InterContinental Miami
Miami has its own winter wonderland with the InterContinental Miami’s Holiday Marketplace. This village-style pop-up will offer holiday treats for sale, including Christmas cookies, hot cocoa, hot toddies, candy, and more. A pop-up Santa’s Workshop will be located in the property’s Grove Ballroom and feature a meet and greet with Santa CLause from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 17, Saturday, December 18, and again on Christmas Eve. On top of that, kids can have “Breakfast with Santa” from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, December 19, at the hotel’s restaurant, Ole.
