CLEVELAND, Ohio – Now that the weather is warming, and we all want to get out, here are several places in Cleveland worth checking out with our four-legged pals. Bon appetit!
All Saints Public House
The Battery Park restaurant close to Terrestrial Brewing (another dog-friendly option, see below) welcomes pooches. Sip a cocktail and let Fido relax.
1261 W 76th St.

Brick and Barrel
Watch the cars along Columbus Road with the bridge down the street as you and you four-legged friend sit at a picnic table outside the rolled-up doors on a nice day.

Fat Cats
It’s not enough for this cozy little Tremont spot to be dog-friendly; it also offers a couple of pooch-centric treats on the menu.
2061 W. 10th St.

Forest City Brewery
Dogs must be leashed but are welcome in the beer garden.
2135 Columbus Ave., Cleveland

Great Lakes Brewing Co.
The state’s oldest craft brewery welcomes dogs on its patio.
2501 Market Ave.

Market Garden Brewery (also Nano Brew and Bier Markt)
Saunter up through the alley between the brewery and the West Side Market, and the patio is there for you and your four-legged pal. Fido will enjoy an array of aromas with the market and production brewery nearby. And they are welcome in the parklets, the area in front along W. 25th Street.
Market Garden is at 1947 W. 25th Street. Nano Brew is a few doors down and Bier Markt is across the street.

Platform Beer Co.
Platform is pooch friendly on the patio as well as inside.

Terrestrial Brewing Co.
There’s an adjacent grassy plot to the brewery’s patio in Cleveland’s Battery Park neighborhood. Also, the brewery offers doggie brunches.
7524 Father Frascati

Thirsty Dog Brewing Co.
With a name like ‘Thirsty Dog,’ you know it has to be dog-friendly. Nice patio in the Flats, and the brewery (under the guidance of its dog-loving owner John Najeway) often has dog-related events.
1085 Old River Road
A few other dog-friendly places worth noting:
Barrio, multiple locations, https://barrio-tacos.com: The taco restaurant has dog-friendly patios. You can sip a beer, and your pooch can focus on you crunching your taco.
Debonne Vineyards, 7840 Doty Road, Madison, https://www.debonne.com/: You have to like a place that has an event called Woof Wednesdays. It’s a summer event that features a dog shelter or rescue 5 to 8 p.m. Also, $1 per bottle or 50 cents per glass (beer as well) are donated, along with some food sales. Debonne is dog-friendly outside anyway, but Wednesdays are extra special. (There’s even branded dog treats.)
Ruff Life on the Lake, 5514 Geneva-on-the-Lake, https://www.facebook.com/RLOTL/: Great name, very dog-friendly with areas for people only as well as for those who want to bring their pooch.
Missing Falls Brewing Co., 540 S. Main St., Akron, https://www.missingfalls.com/: The brewery has an event oncoming up Wednesday, June 16, for folks to create a painting of a dog (or cat). Here are the details via Facebook.
Note: Many of the Grand River Valley wineries are dog friendly, but call ahead to doublcheck before hitting the trail.
