Hell’s Kitchen: The process to eat there during filming is brutal - Guilty Eats

lemperbon.blogspot.com

Ever want to eat at Hell’s Kitchen and have your meals cooked by the contestant Chefs? Ever wonder what that process is like to be able to get a seat at the actual filming restaurant?

If you’re a big fan, much like myself, then you most likely answered ‘yes’ to both of those questions. However, based on what we know, in order to dine there during filming, you’ve got to go through a lot. Let’s dive in!

Want to eat at Hell’s Kitchen during filming? See how to get in down below!

I think that, overall, it’s pretty safe to say that Hell’s Kitchen has, over time, been one of the most popular food-related shows on TV out there….ever. Whether people like the food and recipe aspect, the challenge and cooking aspect, or if you’re like me, you love a good Gordon Ramsay yelling session, then this is definitely the show for you, which is loved by many….anywhere and everywhere.

If you’re a super fan much like myself, and you’ve been wanting to or wondering how to get on the show as a diner during the ever-so-classic dinner service, here’s what we know:

  • It’s (way) more than just creating and/or making a reservation
  • They film with an odd schedule – only for 8 weeks at a time, creating 2 seasons at once, rotating the chefs halfway through (respectively)
  • Predetermined casting calls are held and extras are brought in
  • Gordon and his team/crew are present for the entire time during filming(s) hour(s)
  • You must sign up with a casting agency in order to even be considered as a diner
  • Spots for diners and extras on the show fill up years and years in advance

If all of this seems a bit disappointing, don’t worry! There is still a Hell’s Kitchen-themed restaurant that serves the same menu as the show does, giving you (almost) the full experience, minus Gordon himself of course. It’s located inside of Caesar’s Palace Casino in none other than, Las Vegas, Nevada!

There are also a few other Gordon Ramsay restaurants, one of which I have dined in. There is Gordon Ramsay Steak (what the Young Guns are competing for this season at Paris Hotel and Casino) and Gordon Ramsay Burger, which is inside the Planet Hollywood Casino. Personally, I dined at the burger-themed restaurant, and here are some notes that I have all about it:

  • Everything is a la carte (French fries are $8, but totally worth it)
  • The burgers are cooked absolutely perfectly and to your exact liking
  • The wait staff is great, for the most part
  • The line was long, but it definitely helped that I only had me and my boyfriend eating (A.K.A. We got to skip to the front of line and get in/eat faster because of that fact)
  • Whatever you do….order the Oreo Creme Brulee Milkshake if they still have it (my boyfriend and I shared it, and it was so good and worth the extra room in your stomach)

Are you a fan of Hell’s Kitchen? What are your thoughts on Gordon Ramsay, and which of his restaurants would you most want to dine it? Let’s chat below! Pinkies up, folks!
