SEAFORD, Del. – Officials say the City of Seaford is experiencing sporadic water discoloration this morning due to bringing a new well pump online on Tuesday.
We’re told the new pump disturbed natural iron deposits in the well and some were introduced into the system. Officials say the water is safe to consume and should clear up shortly. Residents looking to clear their line should run an outside hose until the water clears.
